- Canada Day, formerly Dominion Day, is Canada's national day, a federal statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of the 1 July 1867 enactment of the British North America Act, which united Canada as a single country, which was in turn composed of four provinces. Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as internationally.
- Fran's street in Coquitlam or whichever burb it is she lives in, closed off the street for the day and had a wee bit of a block party. They had live music, bbq's and other food, bouncy castles, slip-n-slides and things. Good times for the kids.
